This particular version has been arranged by noted American church music composer Hal Hopson. The service involves the choir, organ, handbells, congregation, and readers in worship with scripture and music. Since its beginning in England in the mid-1900’s, the appeal of this service has spread throughout the world to churches of many different denominations. It continues to be a treasured tradition at Covenant as well.
