Chance to Dance/On Angels Wings

Chance to Dance and On Angel’s Wings are liturgical dance companies that perform at worship services and in other venues within the community. They have performed for Covenant as part of several programs, including Wednesday Night Supper and Sunday Morning Worship, and at other venues around town, including Trinity United Methodist Church, University Presbyterian Church, Morning Pointe Retirement Center, and the Bama Theater. In 2006, they were featured on opening night of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Birmingham.
There are approximately 25 girls participating in the classes four nights a week, with an annual recital at the Central High School. Many of the participants are Hispanic, and the program received a grant from the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsely as a part of the Hispanic ministry emphasis.
